FAQ

WHY CHOOSE FOREFRONT OVER OTHER HOME INSPECTION COMPANIES?

There are a lot of new inspection companies out there, but you have to look at their education, experience, if they are insured, certifications, and the equipments used is also critical to detect and verify the issues correctly.

I have been a full time inspector since 2005 doing over 6,500 home inspections including condos, townhouses, new construction, manufactured homes, trailer homes, apartment buildings, ADU's, large multi family, and single family properties.

I have over 600+ educational hours in certifications, exams, continuing education, and study courses. Passing the National Home Inspectors Exam is very difficult without a educational courses in structural, plumbing, roofing, electrical, HVAC, exterior, interior, Ventilation and Insulation. This is why most inspectors don't pass or take the exam which is a requirement for ASHI certification.

Construction experience gives me a deeper understanding of the components of the properties defects, installation and repairs that helps the clients to have better picture of what it will take to do future repairs or projects.

I use the most technologically advanced tools and methodology in the industry from report writing software, thermal cameras, Protimeters (moisture detector), drones, laser levels, etc.

I take all of my knowledge and experience into every inspection so that you can make the best decision for you and your Ohana.

WHY DO YOUR HOME INSPECTIONS TAKE LONGER THAN OTHER HOME INSPECTORS?

Because of my experience, education and willingness to leave no stone unturned I do my best to thoroughly inspect the property so that you will have the most comprehensive report and inspection possible. Some inspectors don't go on roofs, up attics, in crawl spaces or open electrical panels. I also do a full thermal inspection and drone inspection (if required) in addition to the home inspection. I believe some inspectors don't know what to look for, don't care to look, or don't take the time to look for the issues. I don't feel it's fair to the clients to rush through the inspection or the summary process after the inspection.

WHY ARE YOUR PRICES HIGHER THAN OTHER HOME INSPECTION COMPANIES?

My prices are based on the size of the property and the time it will take me to inspect it. Other companies will charge approximately $550 per Single Family but spend 1-2 hours to inspect the property. Their prices are cheaper but the quality of the inspection cannot be compared. I will spend 5-6 hours for the same property but typically charge about $100-$200 more (the starting cost of most minor issues). I will find 2-3x more issues (minor and major) than other inspection reports.

The cost of the inspection is less than 1% of the purchase price of the home, which often times saves the client thousands of dollars, future headaches, health and safety hazards.
