The BVI program allows to voluntarily undergo a criminal background check using Sterling Talent Solutions. Completed background check which includes:  Social Security Number Trace; County Criminal Records; Nationwide Criminal Records; Department of Justice Sex Offender Database; Locator Select which includes over 3,500 jurisdictions. 

  • Clients have peace of mind during an inspection conducted by a Background Verified Inspector with a "clear" record on all background checks.

ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI) requires experience (250 inspections), education (20 CE credits annually) and a Nationally recognized test (National Home Inspectors Exam) making ASHI the standard in certification especially when licensing is not required in the State of Hawaii.

Certified Infrared Thermographers are trained to identify and measure thermal anomalies based on thermal patterns, collect quality data, take accurate temperature readings, and understand heat transfer concepts to analyze thermal images properly. Most Home Inspectors will have a thermal camera but not have the knowledge to correctly interpret the data, which will lead to false positives and incorrect reporting.

AHIT Certified with over 300 educational hours. AHIT is recognized and approved by ASHI and NACHI professional organizations. Courses include: Structural, Plumbing, Electrical, Roofing, Heating, Cooling, Exteriors, Interiors, Insulation, Ventilation, Business, and Marketing. Licensed and approved curriculum in over 120 colleges and universities. Experience is great and invaluable but education will increase your knowledge and comprehension of the home systems beyond what most tradesmen attain in their specific fields.

The National Home Inspectors Examination is the recognized national test for state licensing qualifications. EBNHIE serves the public interest by establishing the standard of competence for the home inspection profession. This test is performed in a true third-party accreditation by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) to ensure the quality of ASHI certified inspectors that take and pass the EBNHIE test.

E&O AND LIABILITY INSURANCE

(Inspector Pro Insurance Program)

E&O (errors and omissions) insurance for home inspectors. Forefront Inspections is fully covered and insured with $1,000,000.00 E&O and General liability insurance. Some Developers require a million dollars of insurance to be able to inspect the property. Insurance coverage will help to protect property and persons involved and every Home Inspector should have adequate coverage. I have never had any claims in the history of my company.
